JOB SUMMARY	Enhance the education of GCS students by teaching them the values of good sportsmanship, team play and fair competition.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS	Must possess high school diploma/equivalent. Must possess ability to encourage high school students and teach basketball fundamentals and strategies with understanding and patience.     Must possess ability to work effectively with parents and staff members. Must possess knowledge of and experience with basketball rules and regulations. Must possess excellent organizational skills and leadership ability. Previous coaching experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES	Perform all duties assigned by the head coach. Enforce rules and regulations concerning conditioning of student-athletes and their health and safety. Develop respect by example in appearance, manners, behavior, language and conduct. Provide proper supervision in all situations. Maintain effective individual and team discipline and control. Model behaviors that reflect the values of good sportsmanship, fair competition and ethical behavior. Develop rapport with coaching staff, teachers, administrators, parents. Conduct/participate in necessary meetings and coaching clinics to improve coaching performance. Promote all sports in the athletic program.
WAGE	$3,206 per full season

JOB SUMMARY	We are looking for a candidate interested in collaborating with a team of positive, dedicated, and high-performing educators to inspire students and challenge them to achieve more than they thought possible!
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS	Must meet state of Michigan certification requirements to teach science at the high school level. Must possess the Science (DX), Integrated Science (DI), or Biology (DA) endorsement. Must demonstrate the desire and ability to build meaningful, caring relationships with students in order to exert academic influence. Must demonstrate the ability to create and execute clear, logical instructional plans that produce strong results in student learning.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT	Minimum starting salary range: $45,800-$79,647    185 work days Salary schedule placement is determined by degree level and teaching experience. Teachers with previous teaching experience will receive one-half step on the salary schedule for each year of experience up to a maximum of Step 12. We offer a competitive benefit package, a $1500 new hire bonus, $2000 toward the cost of graduate credits, and half of the tuition cost for up to 18 graduate credits in a content area taught in our Early College Program.

Work Days: All days that students are in session plus potential for additional hours on an as-needed basis in the evenings and weekends. Additional days may be available during the summer months.
Hours: 6 hours per day
Wage: $14.92/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Follow all state and federal regulations pertaining to school nutrition
• Prepare and serve correct portions of each component to create a qualified meal
• Properly convert measurements and weights for large quantity food preparation
• Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures for multiple items simultaneously
• Successfully follow a strict time schedule for all duties
• Follow a published monthly menu
