Job Description: (Attached) Working Calendar: 261 Days/ 8 Hours Salary Schedule: (attached) 1B  Grade 2  Salary Pay Range: $15.66 - $17.91/hr
    As per board approved salary placement rules.   

    SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides efficient, quality cleaning (housekeeping) tasks District buildings following established practices, standards and methods under the direction of the supervisor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

     
    1.  High School Diploma or G.E.D
    2. Ability to perform basic commercial cleaning (housekeeping)tasks in schools and office buildings
    3. Ability to use/operate commercial cleaning equipment
    4. Effective Communication Skills
    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in a diverse workplace INTERNAL CANDIDATES

    At this time bids on this custodial opening are being accepted from presently employed custodians, sub-custodians, and JCPS employees with the required housekeeping training.
