Summer Students: Grass Cutter and Grounds Crew
 
 
 
Saskatoon Public Schools requires Summer Students: Grass Cutter and Grounds Crew effective May 5, 2025.   This is a temporary position until August 29, 2025.
The successful candidate will be available for work from May 5th to August 29th during scheduled shifts.  The Summer Students: Grass Cutter and Grounds Crew perform a multitude of tasks including cutting grass on a ride on mower, whipping fence lines using a motorized whip, minor maintenance to equipment, flower bed maintenance, edging of lawns, tree pruning, and general lawn care.  When weather does not permit outside work, summer students will be assigned to one of our facilities to assist with custodial tasks.
Applicants will possess grade twelve plus enrollment in a post-secondary education program.  A valid drivers’ license with access to a reliable vehicle is required for the position.  The successful applicant will be able to work independently and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.  Previous experience in lawn care and maintenance will be considered an asset.
