Humboldt Public School requires a Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Continuing Specialized Support Teacher to commence with the 2025-2026 school year.  The teacher will play a critical role in assisting students in developing self-regulation skills and other targeted initiatives.  This teacher will work collaboratively with school teams and provide job-embedded support.
• Grade K-9 school with approximately 338 students and 21 dedicated professional staff
• Located in a supportive community with an active student body
• Enjoys a solid academic and extra-curricular program.
 
Humboldt is a vibrant and growing community of over 5,500 people and offers an range of recreational and service club opportunities.  Humboldt is located in Highway #5 east of Saskatoon.
 
Duties:
• As outlined in AP 182 - Role of the Teacher
• Saskatchewan Education Act, 1995
 Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Education Degree
• Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional 'A' Teaching Certificate
• Post-graduate training or experience in inclusive education; executive functioning/behavioural support is an asset
• Strong understanding of behavioural management techniques and self-regulation strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with Ministry of Education policy and guidelines related to inclusive education
• High commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
