BWSD is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dance Coach. This position is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator with a love for dance and a commitment to student success. The ideal candidate will have previous coaching experience and a deep understanding of dance techniques, performance, and team-building. As a Dance Coach, you will work closely with students to inspire creativity, build skills, and foster a positive team environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
• Coach and train middle and high school dancers in a variety of dance styles, focusing on technique, performance, and teamwork.
• Plan and lead regular practice sessions, preparing students for competitions, performances, and school events.
• Provide individual and group feedback to help students improve their dance skills and build confidence.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a balanced, well-rounded experience for students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging team atmosphere.
• Assist with choreography and stage preparation for performances.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and the school administration regarding progress, events, and expectations.
 
Qualifications:
 
• MS Teaching License preferred; para professional opportunity also.
• Previous coaching or dance instruction experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dance techniques and choreography across various styles.

Minimum Qualifications
 
1. Education:
   • Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education.
2. Technology Literacy:

3. Occupational Experience:
   • Associate Degree Holders: At least two years of verifiable occupational experience in the culinary field within the past ten years.
   • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher): At least one year of verifiable occupational experience in the culinary field within the past ten years.
4. Certifications:
   • Successful completion and maintenance of the Manager and Instructor ServSafe® Certification.
