    Driver Temp Trainee
    Job Description (attached)
    This is the initial position to allow an applicant to attend class with the Transportation Department and receive the CDL license required to be a bus driver
    Hourly Rate: $21.00 (no benefits)

    Substitute Bus Driver
    This position requires a CDL license but is not on a fulltime schedule

    Hourly Rate: $27.00 (no benefits)

    Minimum Qualifications:
     
    • High School Diploma or G.E.D., or currently working to complete G.E.D. 
    • Valid commercial driver's license with evidence of a good driving record- will train for CDL
    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Practices effective written and verbal communication skills
     
    Current employment incentives:
     
    • Up to $75.00 reimbursement for Permit testing and license expenses upon completion of CDL certification. 
    • $150.00  Contract signing bonus upon successful completion of 91st day of full-time hire
