Summary:
The South Holland School District 151 substitute lunchroom attendant prepares and serves cafeteria food, and maintains the lunchroom and eating area in sanitary condition.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a food sanitation course.
Possession of a valid TB test and health examination issued by the local county board of health or recognized medical authority.
Essential Functions:
Prepares all menu items using establised departmental policies and procedures.
Provides services to students and staff in a friendly and efficient manner.
Cleans lunchroom area before and after business hours.
Performs other related duties as required.
Physical Demands:

The employee is occassionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Position Type:
This is a SUBSTITUTE position, working 1/2 day or full day as needed.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
Ability to read, write and speak English
Bilingual a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior cafeteria or food industry experience
