  Lidgerwood Public School is seeking applicants for an Elementary (5-8) Special Education Teacher.
Applicant will teach remedial core subjects in a resource room setting. Teacher will be responsible for case managing elementary students (Grades 5-8) with a variety of learning disabilities. Duties will include student lesson preparation and delivery, paraprofessional management and completion of special education paperwork. Applicant also needs to be energetic, personable, and a good communicator.  

*Regular Education Elementary Classroom Teachers, who are willing to obtain a North Dakota Special Education endorsement and enter a training/training plan, may also apply. The South Valley Education Cooperative is willing to pay for additional coursework in exchange for a multi-year committment to the school/unit.

-Must have a Bachelor Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education with a current ND teaching certificate (or willing to obtain one).

-Training and mentorship will be provided.

-Extracurriculars are available.
